Capstone Project

For this capstone project, my group and I chose a problem we viewed in the real world and devised a solution. Our problem was that gas stoves release pollutants into the air which can be toxic at high concentrations. For our solution, we created a device that will mitigate the concentration of pollutants released which will make using gas stoves safer. The device has gas sensors and a temperature sensor to detect leaks. Detection will activate an alarm, LEDs, and valve-shut-off response to the issue. There is also a test and stop button on the device. The test shows all outputs are functioning properly and the stop to turn off the outputs once you have been alerted and can permanently solve the issue on your own.
